If women participated in the economy at par with men, India could increase GDP by up to 60%, or $2.9 trillion, by 2025, according to a 2015 study by the McKinsey Global Institute, a think tank. At present, women contribute a mere 17% to the country’s GDP, well below the global average of 37%.
About the program
Digital NAARI (Digital Skill Development Program) is a 4 month program for the underprivileged unemployed women in India , with the goal to improve the Female Labour Force Participation Rate of India. This program is specifically for women graduates/ college students/ college dropouts who are unemployed or are looking to develop a new skill to improve their employability and salaries. This program will equip them with digital marketing skills and knowledge which will enable them to learn the fundamentals of digital marketing, such as:
1. Create and send emails for email marketing campaigns for companies
2. Create and set up ads on Social Media.
3. Create a new Website using tools like Wordpress, Shopify etc.
4. Create display ads on google
5. Create Search ads on google
6. Digital Entrepreneurship and Lean Startup

How to get a certificate: There will be an exam at the end of the course and those who secure 40% and above will be granted a certificate. The ones who fail will be given an opportunity to retake the exam within 30 days.
